In 2003, Karen took her first steps into quilting with a simple quilt top. Little did she know, this was just the beginning of her quilting adventure! With each new project, her passion for quilting grew, leading her to invest in her Gammill machine two years later. And just like that, Creative Longarm Quilting was born — where Karen's creativity could flourish and be shared on client quilts from across the country.
Longarm quilting quickly became Karen's happy place, a place where she could lose herself in the rhythm of the stitches and let her imagination soar. Her custom quilting style mirrors her playful spirit. Since her debut on the quilt show scene in 2006, Karen has been making waves with her unique creations, earning national recognition for her quilts.
In 2012, Karen’s journey took a significant turn when she became a Gammill Quilt Artist, opening doors to new opportunities in the quilting world. Over the years, she also served as an educator for Gammill, sharing her knowledge and passion with quilters of all skill levels. Today, she continues that spirit of teaching and creativity through her own classes, designs, and resources for the quilting community.
